To this day i still cant believe this man was ever defeated in his prime he was the ultimate

  2. Jun 24, 2009 at 03:43 PM by orodilem63

    Roy Jones for sure!

  3. Jun 22, 2009 at 05:12 PM by SCDAUGH24

I might switch Tunney to Roy Jones... Wuttya think???

  4. Jun 22, 2009 at 06:51 AM by SCDAUGH24

Also, Gene Tunney was sort of a throw-in at #15. It could have been a number of greats in that spot, but Tunney's incredible speed & athleticism at Light-Heavy notched it out over guys like Ezzard Charles, Marvin Hagler, Carlos Monzon, Tommy Hearns, Larry Holmes, Etc. (Can't believe I played my dude, Holmes, but speaking objectively... Tunney made more sense when talking P4P)

  5. Jun 22, 2009 at 06:40 AM by SCDAUGH24

This took me a little research, but I came up with a list...LOL I had to do a Top 15 because I struggled to narrow it down to just 10. Last thing...if u need to know why I have who ranked where & why I left certain ppl out just ask (#1 was a no-brainer!!!) (cont.)

  9. Jun 22, 2009 at 03:42 AM by orodilem63

As you certainly know about and love your boxing.... Your top 10 pound for pound, prime for prime?? Don't let me down DURAN has got to be in it! Surely?

  10. Jun 21, 2009 at 04:17 PM by SCDAUGH24

    Based on the same criteria, I'd say: 1. M. Ali 2. J. Johnson 3. G. Foreman 4. M. Tyson 5. L. Holmes 6. J. Louis 7. J. Dempsey 8. S. Liston 9. J. Jeffries 10. L. Lewis So, our lists are pretty similar...

  11. Jun 21, 2009 at 03:53 PM by orodilem63

This list is based on who would win if they fought each other in their primes based on size, power and style and NOT on achievements. 1. ALI 2. JOHNSON 3. FOREMAN 4. TYSON 5. HOLMES 6 LISTON 7. LOUIS 8. FRAZIER 9. NORTON 10. DEMPSEY I would like to have Louis top 3, but in all honesty, I think from 1 to 6 would all have knocked him out!

  12. Jun 19, 2009 at 03:44 PM by SCDAUGH24

LOL, I had to think about the Max Baer question!!! He'd be 22nd on my list: 11. George Foreman 12. Rocky Marciano 13. Riddick Bowe 14. Evander Holyfield 15. Sam Langford 16. Gene Tunney 17. Jim Corbett 18. Ezzard Charles 19. Jersey Joe Wolcott 20. Max Schmeling 21. Floyd Patterson 22. Max Baer

  13. Jun 19, 2009 at 04:23 AM by orodilem63

Yes Jim Jeffries was a great champion, I think he was undefeated when he first retired, before the Johnson fight. As good as he was though 'prime for prime' against Foreman? I think George would have ko'd him early. I'm a big LISTON fan, infact I think you should have ranked him higher. Lennox not top 10, sorry! Now way up there with the greatest heavyweights of all time. Just out of interest where would you have put Max Baer on your list?

  14. Jun 18, 2009 at 04:47 PM by SCDAUGH24

And Rocky would be 12th on my list, Foreman being 11th. Just didn't have the size or speed to be considered Top 10. Great champion, though, his undefeated record speaks for itself. He did beat alot bums, though. LOL, Joe Louis was BALDING both times they fought & Jersey Joe Wolcott isn't considered a "great" in my eyes, ya know??

  15. Jun 18, 2009 at 04:44 PM by SCDAUGH24

Yeah, that's why I have Holmes 3rd... The reason I have Jim Jeffries 8th is cus he was an absolute specimen for those days... 6'3" 230lbs. PLUS, he challenged all the best heavies from those days to fight (Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Jack Sharkey) in the SAME NIGHT!!! And, guess what?? THEY ALL REFUSED!!! He instilled fear in ppl. He had mammoth power & wasn't scared of NO ONE!!! And Liston's on there because before Ali came along HE was the man... No one could f*ck with him...

  16. Jun 18, 2009 at 03:03 PM by orodilem63

Larry Homes 20 title defences! He deserves recognition and is no doubt top 5. Not sure about Lewis or Jim Jeffries to me Liston and Foreman should both be higher. ALI has to be 1 NO Rocky????

  17. May 26, 2009 at 07:20 PM by Rabbethepowah

top 3 HW of ALL time 1) tyson 2) joe frazier 3) ali

  18. Mar 15, 2009 at 10:25 AM by rapeyou8991

you'r a stupid cuntface you deepshit, lewis is not top 10 and NOT better then liston, next time you have a tought JUST LET IT GO!

  19. Feb 8, 2009 at 02:28 PM by tull06

O yeah my bad but Foreman should defo be in there.

  20. Feb 8, 2009 at 01:23 PM by SCDAUGH24

I'm not the author of the video!!! Here was my... TOP 10 HEAVYWEIGHTS OF ALL TIME: 10.) Sonny Liston 9.) Lennox Lewis 8.) Jim Jeffries 7.) Joe Frazier 6.) Mike Tyson 5.) Jack Dempsey 4.) Jack Johnson 3.) Larry Holmes 2.) Muhammed Ali 1.) Joe Louis ...as you see, I got "The Easton Assassin" 3rd All-Time!!! I'm from Philly though, so he was HUGE around these parts growing up, lol (so maybe I'm a little biased! Just a little, lol!)

  21. Feb 8, 2009 at 01:05 PM by tull06

Well how you judging it I mean Foreman beat frazier in two rounds. If your doing it all round record etc what about larry Holmes.

  22. Feb 8, 2009 at 12:46 PM by SCDAUGH24

Foreman's my honorable mention, so I would have put him 11th on MY list just behind Sonny Liston (overall) I know it sounds crazy, but look up Sonny's bio & stats, he definitely deserves to be in the Top 10 over Foreman, TRUST ME

  23. Feb 8, 2009 at 12:44 PM by SCDAUGH24

Yeah, but, I considered Evander more a Light Heavy, he flourished more as a Light Heavy... Didn't pack enough power to be considered Top 10, but he is one of the most "accomplished" sorta like Lennox, doin it in the Olympics and all as well...

  24. Feb 8, 2009 at 12:54 AM by XHmongMafiaX

u forgot holyfield.... man hes the sh1t

  25. Feb 7, 2009 at 07:29 AM by tull06
