thats not how boxing works.... if castillo had taken a knee (very similar to mayweather vs. manfredy), he would have been allowed time to recover and continue fighting. however, if someone is taking punches to the head and refuses to go down, therefore taking more and more punishment (especially with no defence), the fight will always be stopped. unless the ref is Steve Smoger

I think the stoppage in the Corrales vs Castillo fight was wrong. Castillo was giving him a beating im sure he wouldn't mind hitting the ground once after Corrales hit it twice even the crowed booed the stoppaege great fight though
