The fact is that any heavyweight can be knocked out if hit cleanly by a punch he doesn't see coming. Lewis and V. Klitchko got
knocked out by punches they didn't see and couldn't get out of the way. Lewis took numerous big punches that he survived and went on to win. Klitschko by working with E. Stewart has become a master at not getting hit with big punches. Two different ways to become a great heavyweight boxer. It would have been great to see them fight.

Yes, but not too many HW's could get up after that punch ; maybe Mercer, David Tua and Vitali Klitschko...that was a big punch on Lewis's jaw. Luckily, soon after that Rahman became "Has-been-Rahman", beeing ridiculized and KO'd by Lewis in the rematch. Sanders fought the "rematch" with Vitali, and he made a good fight, showing a great heart.

rahman in 2 fight could not wobble maskaev so i doubt he could have hurt any heavyweight with that punch. In the sander fight rahman got lucky against sanders, rahman landed 1000 punches before the stoppage and sanders didn't even look hurt.

What about this: Rahman was the only HW who ever knocked down David Tua... it wasn't scored as a knockdown, because it was a little bit after the bell. I don't say that he was a great boxer, but he could punch. Lewis fought and beat a lots of better fighters than Rahman, he had no reason for a second rematch.
