i dont see whats wrong with max kellerman. i think hes a good boxing expert/announcer. im sick and tired of hearing some people saying how boxing is dying or the UFC will take over the fight scene. boxing is not in trouble and it will never die! i like the UFC but it seems like every time i watch it the announcers are takin shots at boxing. why do they feel like they have to compete with boxing? ok there. i just had to get that off of my shoulders.

GREAT VIDEO. Has to be your best one yet. Although you did get tangled up with your words late in the end when referring to the guys over at boxing4real. Kind of an odd moment for you, but nothing too bad. Keep up the good work.

so let me get this straight, basically your saying that your better than larry merchant and max kellerman? than you say that all great fighters think they have a fight left in them, but since when is gatti a GREAT fighter? yes hes fun to watch and he hits and gets hit, but come on man he is not a great fighter. next time give out a shout out to ME on your videoooo.

I think boxing fans make too big of a deal about a loss in this sport. I've seen it time and time again where a boxer loses his last fight and immediately everyone jumps on him and says he should retire. There's really only two outcomes for a boxing match - win or lose, and in Gatti's case, losing to somebody on the top level like Baldomir doesn't mean much. Good vid.

I certainly will as long as you tell your friends about the show. I am saying based upon what I have heard come out of the mouths of both Kellerman and Merchant I am not half as bad. I feel very confident and have enough sense to know if I have nothing to say to keep my mouth shut. As to the one good fight left...as much as we all feel Gatti should retire who's to say he won't think along the lines of some of the others I mentioned one day.

karemaker, if u knew anything about boxing and/or arturo gatti, you'd at least consider retirement for arturo gatti. He has been in so many wars, the baldy fight included, that he has got to hang them up before he takes considerable brain damage. In 10+ years, the effect of all these wars will take their toll on gatti, and it wont be pretty. some fighters get off scotch free, we will see

And i agree, i dont really like merchant that much anymore. Just when im getting into a fight, he'll make some remark and ill get out of the fight. like during the gatti fight lampley said that gatti could win this fight if he sticks to boxing and such, so im like "cool, gatti might have a chance". But then merchant comes right back with "thats wishful thinking guys!" and then im back to where i was before. u know?

BUT, i like merchant at times.. Like when he said "hopkins used to be a lion that attacked his prey, but now he is an old lion that sits back in the bushes and waits for something to come by." like thats really meaningful and really cool. And when he said "Is this the last of Arturo Gatti." Lampley has got some good ones to. Like in the gatti fight he said "And now gatti is ruined...absolutely ruined...by a baldomire left hook" shit like that

I know my boxing very well, watched it for years and box myself so don't be a smartass. I'm also a big Gatti fan. Gatti has shown no signs of any brain damage, and this is 3 years after his trilogy with Ward... fights which makes this latest fight look like a sparring session.

I like the combo of Merchant,Stewart, and Lamply, I have trouble watching a fight and enjoying a fight without Jim's excitement. I agree with you on Max Kellerman, I notice he shows a lot of bias towards particular fighters. It drove me nuts how one sided his opinion was in the Zaheer Raheem vs Popo fight, hell the BAD team is horrible all together.

I agree with the Merchant comments. I have never ever liked that old fool.
Max Kellerman has been doing boxing shows since he was like 15 years old on public access in New York. Tyson and others used to watch it. He knows his stuff. HBO doesn't give him enough of an outlet. He's a better analyst than commentator.

Seaniemo, I fully acknowledge that your videos inspired me to start Boxing 4 Real the video show. And yes we poked fun at you in the beginning, sometimes even to the point of being mean. We even made a spoof video of you and Bob, but I decided to not post it b/c I didn't want it taken the wrong way. Also we had people on YouTube trying to get B4R and Seaniemo into a stupid feud...

...however I did not ever attempt to rip off any of your ideas for the format of our show. I hope you don't think that is at all the case. "Shout Out" has become a popular phrase in both radio and TV. We used it for lack of a better phrase I suppose. We used beginning and ending credits with legal to use music to try making our show somewhat like a TV show. No hard feelings from this side. Peace.

Honestly...none taken. It is what we both do. Dude I am not the type to HATE like the fools who tried to have our shows but heads. To me it is all in fun. I think we should be vocal enough to express our respect for one another while we poke fun.
