i find MMA boring personally, i like top level MMA but amatuer level it is shit, they have very little skill and i think it's just a bunch of guys trying to find out who's the toughest in thier town, what im trying to say is at amatuer level, which is what i fight at, you have to be alot more technically virtuous to fight in the ring than the octagon. Im 16 and a few of my friends have taken up MMA and i'll be totally honest they cannot fight for shit they are just brawlers.

This argument is silly really UFC wont take over from boxing there different boxing will stay there and a ufc fighter probably wouldnt do well in boxing and a boxer wouldnt do well in ufc because there not trained for that sport if they trained for them then yes they may do well. But you would imagine if ur better at boxing u go into boxing not ufc and if ur better at say grappling or martial arts u go into ufc

guys boxing isnt that good anymore, UFC is better because you can have anystyle and fight instead of only hands

@SinsterKO i would agree with you were the ground game not so technical. you can be a stand up fighter with very little training and everything can come naturally to you. if you're talented enough you just attack when and where it makes since to attack and defend when and where it makes since to defend. it requires no forethought. the ground game however requires skill and training. it's basically a chess match so i think that most ground situations should stay there.

i honestly prefer boxing than ufc.. although i enjoy watching both very much boxing is more pleasing to my eye.. and there will always be famous boxers forever...both of these guys were wrong in my opinion
