Name me another fighter in any weight class who could b such a force with 20 amateur fights, five years boxing traininng and still basically a kid mentally and I will eat my hat.

Look at Khan he was an amazing talent but 2 raw in his late teens to be a genuine force on the world scene but Tyson only had about 20 amateur fights and was ready to take on the world at 18 with very little experience its amazing.

I mean Ali with Tyson's athletic ability or Tyson with Ali's mental strength is pretty much unbeatable.

Welll when guys like Cus see a 13 year old kid spar once against a 27 year old pro and say he will b a future HW champ pretty much dismissing whoever is put in front of him and that he was the most naturally athletic HW ever, doing things like his switch to southpaw right hook to the body, right uppercut and that everything proved to be prophetic with him being the youngest ever HW chamnp a record that will probably remain during our lifetime, just things like that really.

Seems to me a lot of ppl who don't care for Tyson much only remember the bad things and him being past his best but forget about him when he was young and the most talented HW ever. But sometimes that talents doesn't reach it's full potential I still think he had a great career tho.

So true, Mike should be rememberd as a great fighter not as an animal, when i think Mike Tyson i think about the great things he have done. btw swedishtysonfan , im another swedish tyson fan, love to tyson from sweden.

A real tyson fan are the ones who appreciate the good things he did in his career and put them before the negative points, unlike people who only know the bad things he did, and convince themselves he is an animal unfit to be around the rest of us.

Your absolutely right rooster those things aren't funny apart from the comment "I'm gonna make you my girlfriend after the fight you better kiss me with those big lips". Glad to see Tyson matured now shame he had to experience those things for it to happen if only he had the mindset he has today back then.

Mike Tyson if had Cus D'mato teachings into his prime and gave him direction and stability I believe in my opinion would have destroyed Evander Holyfield and given George Foreman a good fight as well. He would have also destroyed Lennox Lewis if they had both fought in there prime. Tyson was a great talent and I believe that the 80's Tyson was a great boxer and champion. He was one of the best. He lost his ways and became lost. All he needed was direction and guidance which he lost,

You're right and wrong.Tyson did'nt what to fight Lennox post prison knowing he probably get an asswhupping BUT prime Tyson beats Lewis. No disrespect to Lennox 'cause he faced everybody like Ruddock,Golota but the big names he got wen they were finished Tyson,Holy.Of course it's not his fault but he still got 'em past prime.
