that should've been stopped towards the end of the fith, some of those punches were sickening.If Bowe begins to show signs of brain damage later in life, the blame should be pinned on this incompetent referee, the same guy who was giving tyson every chance possible against lewis.

vijay, why don't you watch cricket, you might get some of the action there.... just look at bowe's head getting twisted in angles with cristalclear punches from Golota .. at the ropes or elsewhere, doesn't matter .. it's such a bloody shame Golota landed those low blows, he could have made history on those 2 fights .. 3 to 4 classes better than the bums we see in the divisions nowadays!

Cotton was probably picked for this fight because after the first Bowe-Golota bout, they felt that they needed some big guy in there in case something crazy happens again. The quality of the refereeing in this fight was, however, quite poor like the Tyson-Lewis fight, and Cotton was probably picked to ref that fight for the same reason.

Those last two punches in the round were brutal. I'd normally say Bowe was lucky to be saved by the bell here, but that just prolonged the beating he took that night. Bowe's corner shouldn't have let him come out for the 6th...or the 7th, 8th, or 9th.
