The extremely rare WrestleMania 1 countdown show from 1985.
While the first WrestleMania (held on March 31st, 1985 from new York's Madison Square Garden) was avaialble primarily via closed-circuit, it was broadcast on Pya-Per-View in a few select markets, including some cable systems carrying Super TV (an early PPV provider). The PPV version of WM1 is ver
y rare, but there are still a few old school tape traders out there that have it. This is the last part of the PPV countdown show, including an ad for WM merchandise. I used to the have the first part on a different tape, but I have yet to track it down. This is a repost since for some reason the
sound went out of synch when I uploaded it.

I don't doubt whether you were a fan then or not, but this is most definitely a custom made video. If you've ever seen Mania 1, then you would notice that the clips of Monsoon and Ventura at ringside are from THE ACTUAL Mania show. WWF didn't start doing live countdown shows until Survivor Series 1993.
