| Sorry Ricans!! The Main problem is "Margarito is too strong for Cotto." Cotto is afraid of Margarito's power while Cotto's best punches do absolutely nothing to Margarito. Even in a street fight, that puts you at a serious disadvantage. The only thing Cotto could do diferently in a next fight would be going to the body. But this would open him up to punches to the face. Cause Margarito could box, he just prefers to brawl. Your prototipical great Mexican fighter. |

| Well I want 2 C Cotto go against Clottey or Andre Berto, but I no they wont put him against Berto cuz of the Xpirience that Cotto has & especially not with Margo, if Margarito doesnt get 2 fight P.Williams (wich I think dey will, since Dela Hoya is fighting Pacquiao) then Cotto should fight P.Willy that'll B another great fight. | Very funny!! If it was true that Margarito is not a true welterweight, he would be battling to make the weight and would therefore be weaker going into fights. The same way Cotto was when he was junior welterweight. Dont bring height as an excuse. Over the years there have been small fighters that have used their height to their advantage to battle bigger fighters. MOst famous Chavez (Welterweight) was 5/7 and another was Tyson. | The first fight against Santos ended in a no contest because of a head but. The second was also stopped in the 10th because of a head but. Maybe if Santos wouldn't be so dirty, then they would have fought both fights on a level playing field. And Margo was still up in one of the score cards and that was in Puerto Rico. And if you know anything about boxing, you should know how difficult it is for a Mexican to win a fight in PR and Vice versa on score cards. |

| ANd like I said. Margarito is a true welterweight. Thats the division he is stronger at. The only reason why he moved up was because no champ gave him a chance at Welterweight. If his fighting weight was higher than welterweight then he would be weaker going into fights. He is stronger at welterweight and thats why he made the top welterweight Cotto get on his knees. ANd up to now, I have not seen Margo loose a match decisively. Nobody and i mean nobody, has ever hurt Margarito. |
