Marciano was a smaller and slower fighter; easy to hit. Walcott had no problem hitting him. Marciano cut very easily. Tyson's speed and size would have been too much for Marciano. Marciano fought the greats (Louis, Walcot) when they were old. A young Tyson would have killed Lennox lewis. Ollie McCall destroyed Lennox in their first fight. Mercer gave Lewis all he could handle. Frank Bruno did also. None were as fast as Tyson. Only Mercer had close ot the power of Tyson.

i wouldnt compare marciano on tysons prime level, because marciano ducked jersey joe walcott till walcott was 51 or something then knocked him out. Tyson still would have merked marciano even later on in his career even at the point when he fought lennox lewis because Marciano was slow compared

here's the thing. Ali was an outfighter, he stayed long range, light on his feet and tended to tire his oppoenents out and out think them Tyson was a swarmer. He'd get inside and overwhelm you with extremely hard hits that would come in fast and from all directions. Tyson had great head movement and evasion as well as speed and power. I think he probably would have overwhelmed Ali, who was an outstanding out fighter, but Tyson was far too agressive and quick to be held outside for long

the only two boxers in my oppinion that can be counted to mike tysons caliber are Ali (second best boxer of all times) and rocky marciano. (with his 49-0 stats.)
