Yeah Mike is a good guy at heart. He just has a bad childhood and a short temper from that childhood. I can understand that, I often feel the same way sometimes.

Is it just me or is mike's speech starting to slur, i just see all the old interviews with mike and he sounds a lot more clearer, his voice also got a bit low too, but i guess it happeneds to all great boxers, mike was one of the great ones thats for sure

I feel sorry for Mike. I don't think he ever really wanted to fight. He just wanted to be loved. But he ended up being feared and misunderstood. He has a really messed up background . Some guy just saw this bulky athletic kid and thought he could exploit him for a few bucks. Mike bought into it because he wanted to be accepted. It really is a sad story. But God bless Mike because now he knows that fighting is not the way.

The interviewer made an interesting point, white russians are dominating the sport of boxing since the Cold War ended. It dispells the racial myths of boxing and confirms Tyson's point, anything can happen in the ring. Blacks and White have produced many champions. And it's good to see Hispanic boxers, and more recently Asian boxers, making new head waves in the boxing world. This sport can unite us.

I agree Buuuuuuuuuuuut boxing is a sport not the United Nations. SO respect fighters for what they do outside and bring into the ring, not by their Ethnicity!! You might feel injustice to what happed 200 odd years ago by White settlers by you can't get revenge for that.
