This is that rare video that can be watched over and over again. See more from Heather at http://www.thebestarts.com/heatherheadley/ "He Touched Me" was written by Ira Levin and Milton Schafer for their 1965 musical "Drat! The Cat!" which starred Lesley Ann Warren, Elliott Gould and Beth Howland (who later earned fame in "Company.") Although the show closed after only 8 performances, Elliott's wife at the time, Barbra Streisand, went on to include the song on 8 albums - including her "Greatest Hits." That's a lot to live up to, but Heather makes the song her own with this beautiful rendition. Heather has appeared on Broadway in "The Lion King" and w on the Tony Award for "Best Actress in a Musical" in 2000 for her role in "Aida." She's been nominated for two Grammy Awards. No doubt about it... she sang it wonderfully, though! Listen to different cast recordings and try to get footage on video. It'll truly be inspiring! Since I know this ... At the same time, I would think that it would be hard to bring the same effect, if you are of another generation and style.
