Pretty like. But more practical. ROSS is the variation of "Systema" style under another training methods by Alexander Retuinskih, who is cofounder and codeveloper of original Kadochnikov's "Systema".
do they still sell this product?
He was a sambo champion, and an instructor of ROSS sytema. That's why the strikes look like sytema.
Maybe, but Scott Sonnon is an international kickboxing champion who trained with the Russian national boxing coach, Petr Pashkov, so probably not. People said the same about Fedor back in the day.
hmm this striking style leaves your head very exposed though..........
No, is a diferent martial art and method of training
RMAX systema-influenced, as far as I know.
This type of movement and striking was one of many movements implemented (or integrated) in SYSTEMA.
Isn't this Systema? Certainetly looks like it.
aww yes, the good old martial art of fisticuffs.
Interesting video. I can see in the first demonstration, it's a bit how Fedor punches(:13 - :15). Along with the taking a hit video, on being relaxed. He said this was how he was fine after the Randleplex. Thanks for the videos.
