I think this sounds a lot better on my turntable, cranked up really high. great vid tho.
Thanks to Propagana i've discovered this white funk band. Sory for laughung.I love their bass.
......a timeless old Scottish stuff
I love this band. I discovered them through Pandora. Hopefully I can get a hold of them on vinyl.
Alistair. I believe you mate. Are you still playing cricket? How you doing pal?
I believe you! That's actually the best part of the song in my opinion. :-)
Not wishing to blow my own trumpet - yup sorry... but i was the trumpet player! not lyin by the way!
brilliant! i have got the 7" with postcard.
i wish there was a dvd of this and some live perfomances.. that would be grand
Amo questo sound maliconico!
totally.
congratulations. today this video was selected by the NYC Punk Rock Evolution Foundation.
This song reminds me of the sad partings we've all had to have taken in life. Really stirs the memories
Awesome stuff!
great!
yay I've still got the original post card in my single copy...
One of the great and very underrated bands of the Post-Punk era!
I saw this referenced in an article on Postcard in the Guardian. They bungled the link, so I decided to find it myself... and it was posted by you! Nice work. This is not the first time the internets have led me to Ceci.
Beautiful scratchy melancholy.
tell him its fuckin shite
I wonder what you guys think of Aztec Camera
Ah yes, good old Josef K. Franz Ferdinand probably would'nt have had a career if not for these Scottish Punk heroes of theirs. This is one of my many Saturday morning songs.
79 or 80 I read Haig was seriously believing he is a ladybird ! No joke; he referred to Kafkas "Die Verwandlung" and claimed the same happened to him. Don“t know, whether he was in psychiatry later. Anyway, I like that Josef K stuff.
Nice song, but the video is shite
I own this on postcard records along with sorry for laughing. It's also filmed on calton hill edinburgh where I take my dogs for a walk everyday. great song, great venue.
