Peter is a Good Heavyweight IMo he's better than Rahman. Because he did better against Opponent that all beat rahman James toney, Wladimir Klitschko and Oleg Maskaev.

hey some guy said that samuel peter would have done great anytime in the 80s and 90s haha!! let's take a look at that time. Ok the 80s we have got the best jab-er ever Larry Holmes and one of the best hw of all time Mike Tyson!! Larry Holmes would play with him with his jab for 6 rounds until his eyes would look like apples and Tyson would probably just the usual ko in 1 or 2 rounds. The 90s we've got R. Bowe, L. Lewis, (a 60%) Tysonand Holyfield!!!

I think peter is a good heavyweight but not a great hw, i think he wouldve done better in the early 90s or anytime in the 80s when the hw division was at its all time low, people tend to underate the hw division at this point but i dont think its really that bad, its certanly better than the 80s were and probably about the same state as it was in the 90s, we do have vitali, wlad, peter, maskaev is ok only difference between now and years ago is lennox lewis retired and vit beat em up anyway lol

Peter is a decent Heavyweight. His problem is his size. With guys like the Klitschko's you have to be really big to compete these days. I still think Peter could have some good wins at HW against the smaller guys but hes not on the same level as Wlad and Vitali

guess Maskaev only lost three of his entire fight in his career as far as i know this South African dude overwhelmed him with speed he did not expect. Yes, I agree both with ballerketballer and jtjr5. In the meantime, they should rename the heavyweight division, the overweight division. I think it's more appropriate. lol
