Besmanoff was no slouch in '59, but still he was a guy Liston could "relax" with (in a way he never could with Cleveland Williams).
Johansson was champ at the time, but Liston would have handled him easily as well. Anyone have Liston's third-round K.O. of Zora Folley in Denver? At this time, Folley was likely the best in the world apart from Liston and possibly Williams. |
