I respect your ... ( 5 months ago by bolopunch)
I respect your opinion. That's what makes this sport great. Both Leonard and Mayweather are annoying as hell. . . I think we can both agree on that, right? Peace.
What a hell are you ... ( 5 months ago by Khaled4life)
What a hell are you talking about?? How big was those fights before Floyd fought them?? They were massive fights and when Floyd beats them then they come with the exact same excuses as you are talking about.
1: Corrales was ... ( 5 months ago by Khaled4life)
1: Corrales was moving up in weight but decided to fight Floyd at the weight he has allways fought on, just to prove who is the best (He didnt move down in weight) 2: He beated Castillo with one hand in the first fight, even if the fight could go either way 3: Floyd fought Gatti cause Kostya tszyu and Hatton didnt dare to fight him 4: Judah was in his prime and Floyd kicked his ass 5: Baldomir was the true Welterweight champion and Floyd had to fight him to be recognized as the best.
6: De La Hoya was ... ( 5 months ago by Khaled4life)
6: De La Hoya was comming of a knockout victory against WBC Champion Ricardo Mayorga and it showed that he was still in his prime, I couldnt see the difference between the De La Hoya who fought Vargas and the De La Hoya who fought Mayweather.. 7: Hatton was undefeated light welterweight champion and moved up to fight Mayweather at Welter, But lets not forget that Mayweather isnt a big welterweight and started his career at Super featherweight.. You remember how big this fight was??
1:corrales was ... ( 5 months ago by ricanorlando)
1:corrales was training for a fight @ 140 and moved back down
2:castillo won that fight hands down
3:wrong! floyd picked gatti hatton and tszyu. both called him out.
4:judah was kiking floyds ass but he realized he couldnt knock him out got frustrated, just like he did with baldomir
5:just like #4 baldomir won that fight cuz judah got discouraged after tha 4th round
6:everybody knows that a smart boxer will beat mayorga same w vargas.
7:hatton was the ... ( 5 months ago by ricanorlando)
7:hatton was the best bet in the whole list, but remember that hatton moved up in weight before against collazo and got his ass kiked in that fight collazo got robbed bad, and hatton imediately moved back down 2 140 cuz he knew the danger @ welterweight, plus in ma opinion hatton did everything wrong in that fight.
Just because he was ... ( 5 months ago by Khaled4life)
Just because he was training for a fight at 140 doesnt meen he moved down.. He has never fought at 140 and he fought Mayweather at his own weight.. Castillo 1 was controversial (I had Mayweather winning by 1 point) Judah wasnt kicking Floyds ass, Floyd was just too good and he broke him down in the later rounds.. De La Hoya was still in his prime.. I couldnt see any difference..
And dont forget ... ( 5 months ago by Khaled4life)
And dont forget that Floyd fought De La Hoya at 154 pounds.. Floyd came in to the fight weighing 148 while De La Hoya was around 158-160 pounds..
The biggest problem ... ( 5 months ago by akfak0retlaw)
The biggest problem with PBF is he fights to stay undefeated not to prove he's better than the other guy. He know how to win over judges and if in the process a KO becomes available he'll go after it, but not risk the fight trying to get one. It works for him and it shows a lot of skill, but boxing fans want to see boxing not figure skating.
u fight to win. not ... ( 5 months ago by younglion333)
u fight to win. not to please the crowd.. like in any sport u dont wanna show off to impress the crowd and lose thats stupid. u wanna win. the sport is boxing it's a chest game for floyd mayweather boring to some but genius to those who really love the GAME of boxing
Very well put. ( 4 months ago by TCthaCrisis)
Very well put.
mayweather cotto ... ( 4 months ago by wazo89)
mayweather cotto has to happen the best welter against the most skilled boxer in boxing today.
this is why i hate this era compared to the days of hagler hearns and suger ray lenoard
Finally....Someone ... ( 4 months ago by 2resident)
Finally....Someone who is showing floyd some props. I agree, floyd should be the only one who has to save boxing. they need to biuld up some other fights, and start other champions, instead of everybody that looks good....try and fight floyd. If Cotto can biuld up his rep, then i think floyd should try and fight Cotto;floyd is only interested in the big money fights, which i can't blame him. he's the best right now and he don't have anything to prove to nobody, so why not fight for the most money
2resident you are ... ( 4 months ago by ScorpioDog2882)
2resident you are an idiot plain and simple you sound like you been drinking Floyd's Koolade. Cotto build up his rep? He is the second consenus top welterweight fighter in the world, one of the top fighters in the world.
yea but i remember ... ( 3 months ago by speero)
yea but i remember his most recent bout got like some all time low on HBO.. meaning people arent excited to buy his fights
Floyd Mayweather ... ( 3 months ago by ScorpioDog2882)
Floyd Mayweather fans dont want to see their pretty girl all battered up so keep him away from the real fighters as along you keep him with the has-beens and the never-was he is the greatest boxer that ever lived. He is a joke and BOXING FANS know that he is a great talent but his career isnt great because it lacks great victories REAL career defining fights and his whole career he never once intended to clean none of his divisionS much less the pool talented welterweight division
I agree with you ... ( 3 months ago by dyme1281)
I agree with you though I do feel he is a great fighter. The problem is he lacks matches where he has been tested. Ali has cleaned out his devision three times(twice past his prime) and fought everyone you can name. Yes, Floyd has beat everyone he has faced, but look under his weight devision's top ten..he's only fought one of them and that was Zab. He needs to be tested and fight everyone who mumbles his name...bottom line. Once he does that then he should be considered the best.
if he is the best ... ( 3 months ago by crsc04020)
if he is the best why wont he figth cotto or margarito????????????why

FLOYD IS THE MAN. ... ( 2 months ago by westfrezz)
FLOYD IS THE MAN. AND ANY1 THAT WONT ADMIT IT IS PROABLY A RACIST! LETS JUST CALL IT LIKE IT IS, EVERY BODY WANTS TO C THERE RACE ON TOP, THATS JUST HUMAN NATURE! BUT FLOYD HAS BOXING IN HIS blood! his father and uncle were boath WORLD CHAMPS! PLUS HE WAS RAISED TO BE THE BEST SINCE HE WAS A KID. HE WAS TOUGHT HOW TO FIGHT BY A UNCLE THAT HAPPENDZ TO BE A X WORLD CHAMP! SO Y IS SO HARD 4 EVERY1 TO ADMIT ? I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT HOW COCKY HE IS OUTSIDE OF THE RING. BUT IN SIDE HES A WORK OF ART.
Floyd Money ... ( 2 months ago by 619reymysteriowwe)
