I watched this movie (I didn't know what the movie was based on at the time) with my husband a couple of days before he deployed and I cried for an hour straight. This movie has a lot of meaning but if your a military wife that has a husband getting ready or has already left then don't watch it you will just worry like I did, but I am grateful to have seen this. I just want to thank all the men and women that have decided to put their lives on the line for us. Thank you!

This afternoon, I had the honor of meeting Lt.Col. Michael Stobal and heard first hand about Taking Chance. The movie was not make to take sides about the war. The movie was made from Lt.Col. Stobal's personal account about the honor, respect and dignity rendered to a fallen Marine.

I found some copies at two Borders Books. Being Borders, it's a couple bucks more, but the movie is more than worth it.

I am a 15 year old kid and I believe that I have more maturity and respect for our country than some of you. This is a great film and it honors the fallen. I am astonished about some of the comments that I've read and i cant agree more with spxs and marine man.
