Shawn Barclay (founding member /bassist of MuDvAyNe) decided to put together what he considered to be one of the best combinations of musicians the mid-west had to offer. Striving to create something more than negativity and a hatred for the world around them, they chose to side-step the beaten path and open minds to overcoming and taking control of a bad situation rather than hostility and casting blame. The band doesn't stake claim to filling any mysterious or non-existent "music industry voids", but they definitely refresh with their assembly of talent, energy and conviction to their music. Add a power-driven performance and an undeniable presence to compliment their magnetic songs, Sprung is a band destined to play a role in the future of music.
