Yeah they have to water down the art because it is just insane. From Muay Boran came Muay Thai. Wrapping your hands in rope is definitely more dangerous that putting on brass knuckles.

damn that wrist wrap is soo damn long

  16. Oct 8, 2009 at 03:20 AM by nodozer555

these are just normal boxing straps. traditional thai wraps are ropes with knots covering the knuckles for extra damage and cuts to the face. good on SinclairCeltics1990 for saying something right. your very clever.

180" or 5 meters. Anything less, you're cutting it close for protection.

  21. Oct 4, 2009 at 01:57 AM by Mpondrk

how long is it 3 or 5 meter ???

  22. Oct 3, 2009 at 07:21 PM by SinclairCeltics1990

That rope was made from vines and that's the traidtional Muay Thai handwrap. This handwrap shown in thsi vidoe is the modified one :)

hell no ... kmart smh . try online .

  24. Oct 3, 2009 at 06:30 PM by FuckYuhBxyfriendd

breaking you opponent lips ? i think you confused when they wraped with rope then dipped them in water so the rope would be stronger .

  25. Sep 30, 2009 at 06:23 PM by SinclairCeltics1990

The original Muay Thai handwrap (made from some kind of vines) is to have knots at the knuckles (left and right). So, when you punch, you can break opponents' cheeks, lips, etc... Good video too btw :)
