hey i ytake muay thai now but i took boxing for 2 years in stareet city boxing bt for thai boxing i use alot of boxing techniques especially the philly shell or cross defense should i do this by the way i'm 15

you should look up boran thai it is a earlier form of muay thai and it is even more brutal

i have to agree with you, i fought in many tkd tournies and i was always temped to kick to the knee or punch the face but you get penalized for it,and in a street fight you'd get powned. so yeah muay thai would by far beat tkd. *bow*

ha muay thai only uses boxing gloves....u can use ur knee,elbows punches and shin kicks . you block with ur shins in muay thai 1 - ITF tae kwon do is semo contact with light gloves and feet pads, u cant hit below the belt either 2 - WTF tae kwondo is full contact but wears head gear , but no punches to the head. I'll admit taekwondo is very skillful but its not near as dangerous or as useful as muay thai..

Thai boxers train their bones everyday. They spend most of their days punching, kicking, kneeing and elbowing a tree. Their bones are as strong as bricks, they don't need to use padding. They wear gloves to reduce broken faces. my uncle does taekwondo as a morning exercise, its good for a workout but not for real fighting.
