You're kidding, right? You've never heard anything like this from Zappa before? He wrote mysic like this ever since the 1960's. His first solo release Lumpy Gravy, 200 Motels, Wakajawaka and countless others There is a live CD, released in the late 80's, of a couple concerts he performed in 1968 I think it's called A Head of Their Time It goes has a lot of orchestral stuff at the beginning and ends with the Mothers playing I think he released a concert from 71 with Zubin Mehta & the LA orchestra

I've never liked any of the Zappa have heard, and never found it all too impressive from a technical, aesthetic or compositional point of view. But this piece is amazing. Sheer genius. If he has more works like this in his anthology, please let me know. This is brilliant.
