Gomez was one of my favorite fighters on contender season 1.. I never thought this reality show contestant would become world class boxer.. I hope he becomes champ someday..

it's sad, by this stage of gattis career, he had completly lost his skills in boxing and aged had really caught up to him!

  7. Oct 1, 2009 at 03:56 PM by benjamin37

Gatti is a god, his fights against micky ward are the best boxing has to offer, Gomez is a good amature fighting an old man

  8. Sep 30, 2009 at 12:47 AM by snoop11080

    damn this man had heart.

  9. Sep 26, 2009 at 06:40 AM by garibaldi54

Gatti was a shadow of his former self by this stage. He had skills back in the 90's.

  10. Sep 23, 2009 at 05:12 PM by matty2384

bro you cant be serious about gatti skill. dont get me wrong i loved watching him fight. it wasnt skill. it was something he was born with and that is heart. mechanics he wasnt the greatest by far to get beat badly by oscar robinson n angel manfredy due to lack of skill. but anyways RIP

  14. Sep 16, 2009 at 07:43 PM by panchbass

  15. Sep 8, 2009 at 11:10 PM by sinaloa01011990

    rest in peace gatti....

Correction on 2 things, Cotto did NOT last all 12 rounds with Margarito (And the Illegal wraps), that's why the fight ended in a TKO. ANd 2, Cotto is NOT gonna win in Nov.

  22. Aug 12, 2009 at 02:02 AM by 600rockstar600

how does this mean nothing.. it ment that gatti was done it shows that he had nothing left and dont say if he was at his prime gatti would have won he was not as prime. RIP Gatti

  23. Aug 10, 2009 at 01:15 PM by kierock2

Yes, a prime gatti would have made this guy look foolish. But at the end of the day you have to give Gomez his due-he stepped up and demolished the guy in front of him. Boxing has lost a legend. R.I.P Gatti.

I agreed with you.On his prime Gatti had one of the most top class boxing skills i've seen in a long time.
