Ricky Hatton v Juan Urango - Las Vegas

Uploaded by: taksimodaCAFE

Video Stream Description:
The ringside view of the final round between Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton and Juan Urango in the IBF & IBO light welterweight world title fight at the Paris Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, 20th January 2007. Ricky looks knackered but only because he battered Urango in the earlier rounds which I didn't record!

Ricky Hatton and ... ( 5 months ago by dragonboy401)
Ricky Hatton and mayweather both suck...Hatton likes to hug fighters like a bitch and mayweather runs like a bitch
Terrible display by ... ( 5 months ago by Stevenleec)
Terrible display by Hatton. He should be ashamed of the fact that holding and mugging is the only way he can defeat a very good opponent. Had he stood and fought Tszyu, instead using rough-house tactics and excessive holding all night, he would have been KO'ed. I like Ricky (to an extent), but his wrestling style is cowardly.
Stop talking out ... ( 5 months ago by fedormmagod)
Stop talking out through your ass, Hatton was exposed for the fighter he really is at 140 Mayweather would be quicker!! I would'nt watch hatton again if he fought in my front garden.....Mayweather you cowardly bastard stop running from Cotto.

I agree Hatton holds too much and then he complained that the ref wouldnt let him fight on the inside. If you ask me he should have took a point in the mayweather match.

I DONT think you do know about boxing, cuz if you did you would know that the ref won that fight 4 mayweather!!!! By not lettin the hitman play his game in close!! But you will soon c when he gets the rematch and mayweather's on the canvass where he belongs!!!!

if maywehter comes to manchester or london he get fuckin boid. hatton on top
Joe Cortez handed ... ( 4 months ago by Stio55)
Joe Cortez handed the fight to Mayweather as he is easily bought and corrupt like most americans are (cf. Bush being elected and Haliburton being awarded most contracts in Iraq). And if you really want to argue the race card get your facts right - THE UNDISPUTED WORLD CHAMPION JOE CALZAGHE made the Executioner(?) look average even though Joe Cortez tried to throw that fight as well. Chump.

Joe Cortez gave the ... ( 4 months ago by NormenBatez)
Joe Cortez gave the fight to Mayweather. Thats the best excuse you petty ass Hatton fans can find. I'll tell you the real reason he finally faced a real champion and not some handpicked Journey men from Liverpool and he got what was comming too him. What the hell did Joe Cortez have too do with Mayweather knocking him out? Hatton was acutally up on the HBO score cards until Joe Cortez backed off. Its called Boxing not clench and Hold. Hatton would have lost with any reff
Quit making excuses ... ( 4 months ago by NormenBatez)
Quit making excuses Hatton is overrated and FLoyd proved it. The guy has 40+ fights and the only Two ligit fighters on his recored. Americans are corrupt guess what there is corruption in every country not just america.

I interviewed ... ( 4 months ago by soccerdog007)
I interviewed Cortez about a week after the Calzaghe-Hopkins fight. I specifically asked him about Mayweather sticking his elbow in Hatton's face during that fight. His arguement was that Hatton kept running into Mayweather's forearm. From what I saw in the fight that didn't happen. All things put aside I belive that Mayweather just had too much for Hatton. He was just too small to put up an even fight with Mayweather.
no doubt ... ( 4 months ago by davidrivers3492)
no doubt mayweathers reach and structure was to big for hatton and even with a fair ref mayweather would bhave won............but i am baffled as i have seen cortez ref before and let fighters get on the inside......most notably hatton-castillo. did he give a reason for this?

Hug me, Bum me, Love me. Obviously Ricky wasn't held enough as a child. He gives more hugs than fucking Barney!!!
Mayweather ... ( 3 months ago by wickedcjg)
Mayweather complained before the fight about hatton using his head, thats why he din't let hatton get close. But yea mayweathers body was to thick for the body shots to make an impact at all.
Juan Urango is much ... ( 3 months ago by cixthree)
Juan Urango is much bigger than Ricky but he beat him. Floyd is natually smaller than Urango. Anyway, Hatton says Witter sells no tickets, has nothing to bring to the table, slags him off {whatever that means} and he wont give him a payday. Witter will fite him free, What did Lazcano bring to the table? how many tickets does Lazcano sold? He faught Lazcano, why mot witter? Didbt Ricky slag Floyd? Did Floyd give him what he asked for.. Hatton vs Witter, quit running Ricky
