I love this version. Sadly, on their 'album' they got rid of the 'pow pow' electric drums. I rather liked that bit. As for filtro6's comment, they got on really well for a while.

perfect complement of music and image... who plays the lead in the film? he looks superbly cast: a tall, gawky Kafka-like figure...
He did. (: Just the film interpretation is by Welles, I'm pretty sure.

=)) it's from "Young and Stupid" (1979) album... early versions and singles, you can fiund that stuff in torrents ;)
Many thanks - I'm going out on a limb here as it's years since I've heard The Only Fun... but is that a different version to the album one? I seem to have that sublime guitar at 2.17 sounding differently in my memory
