This clip was posted before that fight which happened in the fall of last year.

    What!? No Hopkins v.s Pavlik?

  3. Sep 7, 2009 at 05:35 PM by joneslt

They left out the key break through victory that propelled Hopkins into stardom, and that's his fight with Trinidad. Not only was it his most important fight, but was probably also his best performance against a top ranked fighter. Leave it to HBO for a poor, half hearted attempt at a highlight video with little to no thought or effort put into it.

LOL good job to make oscar delahoya vs bernard hopkins look like an intense fight. that was a slooow fight where their average punches a round was something like 20

paquiao isnt even close to what chavez achieved on his whole career!! try going 89 or 90 fights without a lose. and defending his title for 10 years!! chavez was a true warrior.

Nah, Tarver is the man who dethroned Roy Jones Jr. Tarver is good, he just had a really late start - he was what - 37 when he fought Jones?

  7. Jul 14, 2009 at 10:41 PM by hinduw

i think tarver is juuust a bit over rated....a bit :\

  8. Jun 15, 2009 at 06:13 PM by JustMeShan

    Calzaghe wtf throws fucking slaps

  12. Apr 27, 2009 at 10:02 AM by Whyavier

You have to admire De La Hoya for even getting in the ring with this beast. He's not the coward some seem to think he is.

  13. Apr 18, 2009 at 11:12 PM by TheTerrorUforgot

Functional boxing isn't points. If you look to its origins it was made to fight. You can't win an actual fight by points, and boxing used to have no rounds, then 15 rounds, and now its 12 and point wins are more common. Ideally, a boxer would win every time by KO.

  14. Mar 23, 2009 at 01:08 PM by DerrickHair

    he punished trinidad!

  15. Mar 22, 2009 at 08:05 PM by avalino79

    what about the Trinidad KO...

  16. Mar 11, 2009 at 06:02 PM by kotester10

Well Calzaghe wins by points, but isnt that the point to boxing.... if you get a knockout thats great.. but boxing is getting points and not letting your opponent get points so basiclly calzaghes style is the right style.

  17. Mar 10, 2009 at 02:35 PM by 20kk02

Calzaghe just throws ALOT OF WEAK punches and is given points for it. That's the only reason he wins fights. It seems like in boxing if you uppercut me 10 times and i tap you with my finger on your shoulder a million times I would still get the win and he takes advantage of this to much. The only person calzaghe's been able to hurt is Lacy.

bhop beat taylor in there 1st fight even taylor thought so if u looked at his face at the end of the match he was lookin like he was dissappointed. and calslappy thought bhop was old enuff that he could beat him and bhop put him on his ass bhop won dat fight jus cuz u throw alot of punches doesnt mean u won the fight. calslappy wants low risk high reward fights 2 caliber oppenents in 46fights RJ and BHOP who were past there prime.

  19. Feb 23, 2009 at 05:27 PM by 1CrimeLab3

well hes my top 1, followed by tyson and followed by chavez, n pacquiao might take 3 place from chavez if he beats hatton

  20. Feb 17, 2009 at 03:26 PM by versatility357

Forget top 10. Bernard is definitely in the top 5 for sure.

  21. Feb 11, 2009 at 02:46 PM by mrPR2490

I honestly believe Bernard Hopkins belongs in the Top Ten Greatest Fighters Of All Time,he could,6,8,or 10,it doesnt matter as long as hes in tha top ten.

  22. Feb 9, 2009 at 04:55 PM by warrkrymez

Calzaghe sucks. He throws a lot of punches and is fast, but at the price of power. He hits like a sissy. The only person he's ever hurt was Lacy because he has no defense.

  23. Jan 19, 2009 at 07:56 AM by xSportsKingx

Hopkins hasn't lost since he fought Roy Jones before his prime, beat Taylor Calslappy Tarver and Pavlik.

  24. Dec 23, 2008 at 01:35 AM by Oathbound

That Calzaghe fight was bull. Hopkins should have won that one. Calzaghe is a pussy. He wont give Hopkins his rematch because he knows Hopkins will end his undefeated record. Calzaghe did not even fight anyone that noteable until the twilight of his carrer.

  25. Dec 9, 2008 at 07:51 PM by mrPR2490

I disagree, heres how the list goes Bernard Hopkins=best middleweight in this era Roy Jones Jr=best lightheavyweight in this era Roy Jones Jr=best supermiddleweight of this era Lennox Lewis=best heavyweight of this era Winky Wright=best jr middleweight of this era Shane Mosley=best welterweight of this era, remember u said LEGENDS ONLY!!
