If Discovery Channel can show 180 lb. sky-diver with flight suit with R/C Turbine Jet Engines providing more thrust than sky-diver's weight, why would it seem impossible for this jet to have as much as a 3:1 thrust to weight ratio???

  3. Aug 9, 2008 at 11:43 PM by rcmodelr

Where do you get that info from??? I've read MANY articles of RC Trubo-jet engines producing anywhere from 15 to 200 lbs. thrust... How many R/C jets have you ever seen that actually WEIGH 200 POUNDS???

  4. Aug 1, 2008 at 03:08 PM by beroth1

rcmodelr: Actually this jet only has more thrust than weight when it burns off some fuel. Then the thrust weitght is probably about 1.2:1 or so. I wonder how fast the jet is....

I saw him a fex times in germany, it's everytime amazing! but if his partner from elsterjet joins it... uhh, that's hot!
