@spuffchops70 Is there such a thing as a "hip" art student?

  3. Nov 20, 2009 at 05:41 PM by spuffchops70

This isn't very good. No Wave is an extremely overrated genre popular with hip art sudents.

    vdsmvdmspvfnmvikfviadovnf[aoifaf dada

hahaha you missed the part where he says "Either way, many thanks"...

  6. Nov 8, 2009 at 03:03 PM by 21Kyzix12

its still No Wave. i was just pointing out that No Wave encompasses more than just music

  7. Nov 8, 2009 at 02:06 PM by lGasconCadetsl

True, but then what genre would you call this?

  8. Nov 7, 2009 at 11:41 AM by alotofcheese76

    YEAH

  9. Nov 7, 2009 at 10:27 AM by MajorGeneralPanic

No Wave reminds me of Dada.

  10. Nov 7, 2009 at 10:26 AM by MajorGeneralPanic

Wow, saying "you're welcome" before getting thanked. Ego much?

  11. Oct 30, 2009 at 02:41 PM by runway27r

So anything by Beirut Slum ?

  12. Oct 28, 2009 at 11:04 AM by luisdoll

There are many open tunings. The most widely used is open G, give it a try. Try also open D, E and A. you're welcome dude =)

  13. Oct 26, 2009 at 04:16 PM by 21Kyzix12

no wave isnt just a genre of music. it was a whole art movement

  14. Oct 26, 2009 at 04:06 AM by fefepeachy

I cant believe i missed TJTJ when the came to slim's on 10/08 fucking shame on me!

  15. Oct 25, 2009 at 05:18 PM by alotofcheese76

    whats opentunings?

  16. Oct 22, 2009 at 08:21 AM by shinjukugewalt

i believe both these statements are true. although, if a decision were to be made of a definitive earlier music movement of the two, I'd say it was no wave.

  17. Oct 21, 2009 at 09:17 PM by Dubiousjohnny

    This is awesome...

  18. Oct 21, 2009 at 08:44 PM by nooneisusingthisname

dont mean to barge in, but im reasonably sure they were pretty simultaneous. but serious who gives a fuck? this song is clearly No Wave

  19. Oct 21, 2009 at 08:07 AM by fbebeats

The Chick disintegrating at the fence was from T2: Judgment Day; and the police standoff & guy falling from the building was from Faces of Death

  20. Oct 21, 2009 at 06:12 AM by shinjukugewalt

No wave was before post-punk, so your statement is fallacious.

  21. Oct 12, 2009 at 02:31 PM by TooLegitVolz

Great track. Quit arguing about the genre, it's already done on YouTube far enough.

  22. Oct 11, 2009 at 08:26 PM by benningtonc7

No wave is not a straight counterreaction, like, say Joy Division. But it certainly rejects quite a few elements of punk.

  23. Oct 10, 2009 at 02:05 PM by LilyLeFranc

I'll give it a shot when I get my amp back (don't like how it sounds without feedback) Any particular tuning? I'm REALLY new to guitar and I had a little look at different types of open tuning and there are a fair few! Either way, many thanks

  24. Oct 10, 2009 at 11:46 AM by luisdoll

  25. Oct 10, 2009 at 11:46 AM by luisdoll
