Agree totally. Naz was a great boxer, but should have shown more self belief after he got spanked by Barrera. All of the greats in history got up off their ass after defeat to show how good they were. It's all about how how you come back from a setback.

Agree. Hamed had a chance to take a rematch, clause was there, but his confidence was blown apart. He wanted to be a 'legend' but gave up the chance when he went away quietly. He was good, but that is it.

Arrogance and skill aren't the same thing. Hamed's style was extremely unsound in a technical sense. Against the tomato cans he fought early in his career, he could afford to box with his hands down, but it's begging to kiss canvas against better opponents. This fight marked the beginning of the end for Hamed.

Hamed never redeemed himself, the sucker had a hell of a punch but he looked clueless that Barrera didnt fall as the other fighters he knocked out fighters that were obvious not in the class of a Barrera,Morales,Marquez,Pacquiao. I guess Hamed knew that it was better to retire than be exposed further, because I think a prime Morales would have knocked him out. Erik was a monster in his prime and Hamed avoided him by thinking Barrea was the easier route to go little did he know

Prince only lost to Barrerra by 3 rounds even though it looked bad. His arrogance was the only thing that beat him. He thought he could not Barrera out at any time so he didn't throw alot of punches. He fiqured that because Barrerra stood and took punches he could land the bomb any time. If it wasn't for Nasseem I would never of started watching boxing. This fight is the one that got me wondering who this crazy guy was and I fell in love.

three rounds it could be four rounds on the judge scorecards but the fight itself reflect Barrera manhandling Naz, Naz was scared of Barrera because he didnt lay down to Naz dirty antics as other fighters did, in one time in the fight Prince held his glove out for 10 seconds to tag gloves with him to apologize Marco gave him a fuck you expression and Naz big punches wouldnt budge Marco and Naz was exposed, technique has too many flaws,Hey u watched boxing because of Naz?Thats sad but whatever

agree scorpio. I'm sick of Brits tryin to convinnce the world that Naz is legend. Naz showed a shitload of technical flaws even when he won over limted opponents and old faded veterans like Kelley. He had a chance to face Juan M. Marquez and he openly avoided him.When he finally faced a top fighter he was exposed and dominated. His confidence got so shook that he disappeared soon after. Naz had the potential to make a mark in history but he didnt want it bad enough and thats why he failed
