Tyson Fury vs Steve Cunningham KO Round 7 20.04.2013
Tyson Fury came in promising a short night of action versus Steve Cunningham, but definitely got more than he bargained for in his US debut.

Forced to survive a knockdown in Round 2, Fury was able to come from behind and stop Steve Cunningham via seventh-round knockout.

Cunningham was able to time Fury early on in the boxing match and connected with multiple over hand rights that dazed the undefeated fighter from Manchester.

In the first couple of rounds, it looked as though Cunningham had the formula to negate Fury's height and reach with movement and accurate punches. But, little by little, Fury began to effectively walk his man down, land clean punches, and lay his big frame on Cunningham.

In the post-fight interview with Jim Gray, Cunningham said that it was difficult to get Fury off of him and it was almost like fighting two people. He was obviously frustrated that referee Eddie Cotton allowed Fury to use his big body to lean on him so much.

Cunningham showed tremendous heart, but at the end of the day it was Fury who was able to overcome the biggest rough points in the match, including a point deduction in Round 5.

Fury earned his 15th knockout and will undoubtedly be looking to make fights with the biggest names in the heavyweight division including the Klitschko brothers and David Haye.
