your a loser for thinking that arguing on youtube is for losers.

Holmes was the only one to come close if you talk about efficiancy, but like you said not with the grace of Ali. Holmes was a master in ring movement. Spinks and Walcott don't qualify to be compared with Ali.

  3. Aug 11, 2009 at 12:29 PM by TrevorDeanM

What if some aren't a good judge of talent and they can't see a difference? Maybe some pick fighters that remind them of themselves and they want people to say that their fighter is the best?

  4. Aug 11, 2009 at 12:23 PM by Adebay0r

As for moving BETTER there is debatably no one in the history of the heavyweight division, especially if you factor in style. Jersey-Joe Walcott danced similarly to Ali however. As for ring movement, fighters like Holmes and Michael Spinks used the ring incredibly well, again not witht the grace of Ali, but still used it well. I didn't appreciate that you mean't only in the Heavyweights, there are a few imitators of Ali, but there will only be one Muhammad Ali.

  5. Aug 11, 2009 at 12:19 PM by TrevorDeanM

No one was/is close. Not today but I'm waiting patiently.

  6. Aug 11, 2009 at 05:45 AM by bcibibcibcpCB

I meant in the heavyweights. Name me one heavyweight who moved better then prime Ali...

  7. Aug 11, 2009 at 04:46 AM by Adebay0r

'Ali mastered ring movement like no other in history' - that is just simply not true.

    STOP ARGUING ON YOUTUBE LOSERS.

  11. Jun 27, 2009 at 11:45 AM by HeightzBadBoy164

you want to see 2 animals fight go to jail. Ring Discipline ? You want to see ring discipline go and see whitaker sweet pea. The art of defensive boxing. And he never ran from his opponents. Ali gets no respect from me. None of the true P4P fighters ever ran. They would stand toe to toe with you or stand over you. I would've asked for a refund if ali had fought in our time. Thats like going to see wrestling and all the guy is doing is running around the ring cuz it tires his opponent.

  12. Jun 27, 2009 at 11:41 AM by HeightzBadBoy164

you guys call me a moron. Well tell me idiots. Where is the glory in running from your opponents. You can dodge and weave and not get hit and still stand toe to toe with a man. You can watch Pernell Whitaker and see what a true fighter is about. Thats why Duran quit. No mas. Sugar is a total chicken. Hits and then runs awayand laughs in ur face. He didn't want to continue cuz the guy isnt a fighter. Rocky, Dempsey the real greats never ran. When have you seen sugar ray rob running ?

  13. Jun 27, 2009 at 11:33 AM by bcibibcibcpCB

Boxing is a olympic discipline, it's not street fighting but a noble art. Ali mastered ring movement like no other in history. He fought guys who were stronger then him and won cause of his ring intelligence and great atletic ability. If you want to see two animals go 2 to 2 just go the Zoo when they feed the apes.

  14. Jun 17, 2009 at 12:27 PM by mntwins24

agree. that guy is a moron! he knows nothing. try boxing and see how long you last with that style. you use the skills you were given not just stand toe to toe and hit until one is down. wow! plus Ali didn't just dance around retard he would let people pound on him until they were wore out. you know nothing,

  15. Jun 14, 2009 at 09:41 AM by DoofusFromUranus

The point of boxing is to hit the other guy but not get hit yourself. This is why Ali was and is the Greatest. You know nothing of boxing.

  16. Jun 10, 2009 at 05:45 AM by simozonelayer

I love the way the refs are counting out fighters that are clearly, either, out cold or incapacitated. They peel fighters who're struggling to stand from the ropes and push them back into the fight so they can get even more fucked up. I think things are definitely better now.

  17. Jun 9, 2009 at 03:02 PM by mgonzalezjr1986

are you joking? George Foreman DID fight Ali, and Ali LET FOREMAN PUNCH HIM ALMOST ALL FIGHT LONG!! foreman is bigger, he punched Ali til he got tired and then ALI KNOCKED THE CRAP OUT OF HIM!! ..u shouldn't talk if you dont even know anything about boxing.

  18. Jun 9, 2009 at 02:40 AM by warlord1798

man ali won because he could dance round his opponents and still keep his energy and he could get into peoples heads it was his style... he truly is "THE GREATEST" so stop dissing him just because your jelous

  19. May 30, 2009 at 04:45 AM by HeightzBadBoy164

The only reason Ali lasted in thrilla in manilla and most of his other boxing fights is because he winged it the whole way. Dances around his opponents till their tired. What kind of a real boxer is he ? Doesn't step toe to toe with any of the real boxers. Frazier woulda crushed him had he not danced around the ring like as if he was in spain with roses in his mouth bull fighting. Plain and simple. Ali is a bum. Toe to Toe Tyson kills ali. Foreman is quite bigger so Im not sure about him.

  20. May 30, 2009 at 04:41 AM by HeightzBadBoy164

I don't want to hear anything about ali being the greatest. You want to talk Greats then mention these names. #1 Jack Dempsey. Fought 140 fights. Most boxers dont even reach 40. Joe Louis had a 10 year reign as champion. Max Baer almost killed 2 people in the ring with the undisputed hard right hand punching power in the history of the sport with an 80 inch reach. Marciano had 1000 pounds of pressure per punch when he was in his prime. Sugar Ray is the complete fighter period.

  21. May 23, 2009 at 07:38 AM by mrBandG

Dempsey was great yeah, but he was no gentleman... he was a brutal brawling farmer, who was feared inside the ring and respected outside, but never no gentelman.. gene tunney was a gentleman yes, but no dmpsey

  22. Apr 20, 2009 at 11:36 PM by pistolpete0500

    stop trying to dis-credit ali.

  23. Apr 20, 2009 at 02:12 PM by JDezi4

His glove was already split. They just split it more

  24. Apr 5, 2009 at 01:13 AM by gqmighty

basically yes..the cartoon version is existrated..but yes..he would slip punches....roll over then come up punching himself....

  25. Mar 25, 2009 at 05:14 AM by sakatis

this dempsey guy is the creator of depsey roll?
