Exactly! He's just a nutty fan of leonard, it shows. Now the Anchor asking the questions to the 2nd reporter had a good sense of what probably, asking "did Hagler have enough pop?". That is the key - Hagler had no pop. And in addition he had no fire. He was washed up and even retired - still won the fight though But all the superlatives of Leonard- "a legend, defying boxing history" that's a common ploy by the media used to sensationalize.

Hagler was slow in the this fight. He gave away the 1st 4 rounds because he came out right handed. What ppl also forget is Leonard had not fought in 5 years. Thats what made it impressive. It wasnt like this was ray leonard in his prime. Hagler was the active fighter and champion and he lost to a guy who had not fought in 5 years. Period

leonard only got a split decision and failed to beat hearns in the rematch. let's face it, he wasn't that good because if he were he would have beat Norris and Camacho no problem. Instead both beat the shit out of Leonard and both times leonard went into retirement so that means he wasn't that good.

Ray could have fought him a long time ago. let's face it, Leonard just wasn't that good. His own trainer was told him he was 'blowing it'. he only won two rounds by round 12 and Tommy lost that fight because stamina wasn't as good like with most fighters. Hagler beat hearns in only 3 rounds.
And Duran beat leonard no problem by jumping up 2 weight classes so prime Hagler would have no problem with leonard.

Leonard couldn't even talk about it after the fight look at him running away from the press shameful and it's because of bandwagon fans like you that boxing has no credibility.
