It is 1990. Whered u hear McClellan was 21? Listen to the introductions, it says Tommy Hearns will be fighting Michael Olajide on Saturday night and that fight took place on 4/28/1990.

Wow, thanks for posting this. Rare indeed. This is a public sparring session for Tommy during the week leading up to a title fight so they're not going to try and kill each other, especially since Gerald is just a green prospect at the time.

yeah good stuff. i'll always remember benn mclellan for the right reasons: two warriors toe to toe. the consequences of it are a shame but to be honest, i don't think mclellan was a nice human being at the time of fighting benn.

Okay, let's suppose these two met at around 160 pounds when McClellan was a bit more experienced - say 1993. Can the Hitman's chin hold up? And after seeing this, I'm praying that the amateur bout between Roy and Gerald shows up somewhere too. This may not have been all that exciting, but it's great to have it out there.
