roy jones was so good he made alot of legit fighters look like they were nothing. also lets not forget that it was proven that james toney was using roids to fight as a heavy weight. people can speculate that roy probably used them to and i believe alot of athletes in general do but jones did beat toney easily. in their primes and they were both champions AND jones was the underdog. now that's enough said.

now this guy is a rare breed people. we need a guy like this.

  4. Oct 13, 2009 at 10:43 PM by sn113083

True dat lol. Even when james moved up in weight his hand speed was still there but roys foot work was insane in his prime which is why he was so hard to catch.

  5. Oct 13, 2009 at 03:41 PM by LVSWTZ

James has fast hands too. I think James can handle Roys hand speed and head movement. He would just go to body. It's the foot speed. When roy decides move out of close range he's another world all by himself the matrix.

If he were black he'd been jail for FRAUD! Impersonating fighter lol. The klitschko's are terrible champions in an even worse heayweight era. Toney gets his shot he'll school them to death.

  7. Oct 12, 2009 at 09:56 PM by sn113083

True dat but I still think toney couldnt handle roys hand speed.

Roy is great athlete who went out of his way to not fight anyone tough. And HBO gave him all the exposure (AND MONEY!) to do it! Fighting ex-cops garbarge men you name it. He juiced up to fight Ruiz at HWT and and had to go off it to fight tarver at LHWT. It drained him and he was never the same. R.J got KTFO by Tarver and by HANDPICKED journeyman Glen Johnson . Toney (NOW 41) still hasn't been put to sleep by anyone and can still fight great. Where's PETER & RUIZ NOW? Nuff said

Qquendo caught Toney on a bad night. If they fought again Toney would crush him. Ruiz KO'D Qquendo and Toney schooled Ruiz. When Qquendo retires he will not be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

James was dead at weight when they fought. everyone knows that. And roy did not want a rematch.

  11. Oct 7, 2009 at 12:23 AM by sn113083

James toney is a hell of a fighter but I cannot believe he had the nerve to mention roy jones like roy didn't humiliate the hell out of him.

  17. Jun 30, 2009 at 11:30 PM by Rafa38

man he was givin a gift vs Oquendo . That was highway robbery as Frez kicked his fat ass I would say 10 out of the 12 rounds. Wow .Never was a big Toney Fan.

  18. May 28, 2009 at 03:03 AM by jonnyblaze0187

Exactly,Toney definitely watched a lot of Archie Moore..He picked up a lot of his moves from Archie,no doubt..Also,if Ali had stuck with Archie as his trainer,he would of had a lot more KO's than he did..

  19. May 28, 2009 at 02:56 AM by jonnyblaze0187

Come to the Chi and I'll bring you to Fres..I got his cell number and everything..You wouldn't last with Fres if he was going easy or hard on you..

I dont think James should have agreed to fight Fres Oquendo. He's akward and a bum. I know for a fact I can outpoint Fres Oquendo and probably take him out early with body punches.

  24. Mar 22, 2009 at 10:12 AM by millionstylesboksing

You still need technique roids or not. James maybe be the best shoulder roller ever
