China between Feb and mid Apr raised its Gold reverser by over 40% , from its a little above 600+ tons set back in 2003 (which had stayed basically unchanged till Feb 2009), to a all new China High at 1054 tons by the 24th of Apr. They then stopped the slid of the US dollar and now hold 1.92 Trillion US currency in reserves. OPEC combined set exchange of Oil to the dollar trading and China are the only thing hold the USD up and keeping the World Economy from a total collapse.

  15. Jun 6, 2009 at 09:56 PM by DontTread0nMe1776

This is exactly why the founding fathers were so insistent that only gold and silver be used as money and the penalty for creating bills of credit (federal reserve notes) was death!

  16. Jun 6, 2009 at 09:52 PM by DontTread0nMe1776

Not in the long run, it is worthless fiat too for all practical purposes (it had a claimed 15% gold backing when it was created, it might be half that today)

  17. Jun 6, 2009 at 07:24 PM by delatroy

    Euro should do well

  18. Jun 6, 2009 at 05:08 PM by unworldlything
