The people who make it in the military are not the schoolyard bullies of yesteryear. They are people who are trustworthy, who can work well with others (especially in small groups), and who have strong core values. Erik Prince draws heavily from the Marine Corps and the SEALS, both of which require teamwork as well as other important skills. Blackwater is definitely not a place where misfits and those with behavioral problems would fit in.

I'm not all too sure on that one. I've read that masters, to discipline their slaves, would strike them with the backside of their right hand. I'm a Marine, and the thought of having military contractors having the freedom they do, to do whatever they want is frightening, they have no rules or regulations, and of course do not uphold the UCMJ, even if they are retired military members, it just isn't right, this scahill guy is doing a good job of informing the American public of what is going on, and how everything is more and more privatized, and the way is going, someday there may not even be a military but private contractors.
