Video Stream Description:
interview with prince naseem. Rather sad when you know he didn't made a comeback.
i think the loss made his aura of invincibility undermine his self-belief.

because naz was ... ( 8 months ago by kareemabdullah)
because naz was washed up he lost to barrera, he no longer had the movement or angles and got beat, and against calvo he was even worse, his last 3 fights he was gradually declining, thats why he probably retired as he could see the obvious
Not sure , he still ... ( 8 months ago by brakie1978)
Not sure , he still makes his amusing comeback claims every so often so he clearly still loves the fame and attention he used to get.
I think as the fighters got better Naz got worse. Because Brendan Ingle left?? Suppose we will never know. My opinion is that the writing was on the wall for Naz , got hit way to often and it was only a matter of time.
but against augie ... ( 8 months ago by kareemabdullah)
but against augie sanchez he looked bad, and sanchez retired with 3 losses 2 were in the 1st round, he had been sparked out before naz beat him and once after as well, he was not top class, neither was calvo or Cesar Soto, he looked worse fight by fight, it was only vuyani bungu that was an impressive win because bungu was a bantamweight

wheres part 3, the interview wasn't finished
True. I dont ... ( 8 months ago by brakie1978)
True. I dont dislike Naz , ive left alot of posts on Naz video's and people get the impression that i hate the guy.
I just feel its good to critisise when all everybody else does is praise him!! He looked like an amature in the Barerra fight. People say he didnt train properly.......then he wouldve got back in the gym and avenged the loss , champions get beat , true champions come back. Good , exciting fight
er not a great though
i think that he ... ( 8 months ago by kareemabdullah)
i think that he didn't come back because he realised he was washed up, so you can't say he's not a legend because he lost when he was past it, Ali is a legend and his losses to spinks, holmes and berbick mean nothing, he wasn't at his best vs frazier and norton too, naz in his prime like tyson and ali was undefeated and fought the best in his division
Naz was 27 when he ... ( 8 months ago by brakie1978)
Naz was 27 when he lost to Barerra though. He hadnt been hit in that many fights and shouldve been on relatively fresh legs.
Cant compare to Tyson or Ali. They lost then came back. Ali's losses against those opponents mean nothing ur right but its very different from Naz. He got beaten , his ego aswell as his body took a beating and he couldnt handle it.
If he had of came ... ( 8 months ago by brakie1978)
If he had of came back and won then i wouldve ate my words.
The manner in which he was dismantled was relatively easily for Barerra and the difference in both their calibre was obvious to see. Again you cant compare Naz to Ali or Tyson , i personaly wouldnt mention him in the same sentance as those two. Different league all together.
I think the barrera ... ( 8 months ago by kareemabdullah)
I think the barrera fight naz won about 4 rounds, maybe 5, me and barry mcguigan scored it 2 points for barrera so it wasn't easy, naz even stunned him at one point, I watched a week ago. The loss doesn't mean much to me as Naz wasn't at his prime, he was 27 but remember, some lighter weight fighters get past it early, and naz won the title at 21. I agree he didn't fulfil his whole potential but he will still go down as one of englands best, he was undisputed featherweight champ
But regardless of ... ( 8 months ago by brakie1978)
But regardless of the scorecards he was outboxed in a way he had never experienced before. The only round Naz looked comfortable in was the 7th.
Barerra was a comfortable victor. I hav the fight on tape and hav watched it many a time. Ofcourse he was in his prime , u dont get washed up by the time ur 27. These excuses only take away wot a great victory it was for Barerra.
nonsense, many ... ( 8 months ago by kareemabdullah)
nonsense, many fighters were washed up at 27, mike tyson was nothing around about that age, he was finished at 24, Wilfred Benitez was done at about 23, and naz being a lighter weight was done at 27, many small fighters are done at early ages
Mike Tyson cant ... ( 8 months ago by brakie1978)
Mike Tyson cant compare to Naz. Their lifes are completly different , no comparison at all. Very few can compare with Tyson , least of all Naz.
Benitez started fighting at 15!! He fought other greats , Duran , Hearns etc. And was involved in wars. Naz did none of this Naz was in his career defining fight against the only great he fought and was beaten. Please stop making these stupid comparisons then telling me im talking nonsense lol
naz vs soto, naz vs ... ( 8 months ago by kareemabdullah)
naz vs soto, naz vs sanchez naz vs barrera naz vs calvo he was awful in all of those not just against barrera, it's just barrera was able to capitalize, the others weren't, but he was clearly declining from 97 onwards when his style changed and when he got older, he was fighting from the age of 7 and used to spar heavyweights,
He wasnt fighting ... ( 8 months ago by brakie1978)
He wasnt fighting professionaly at a young age though was my point lol
He was hardly hurt througout his career apart from Alicea , Kelly and Sanchez before Barerra came along. Its not just coincidence that when the oponents improved he started to look worse. The fact is he was a good exciting fighter.......not the greatest as he would hav everyone believe. As iv
e said neither loved or hated him , im just a boxing fan.

ur right.hamed is a coward.guys like barrera, holyfield , diego corrales, arturo gatti came back from hard beatings.hamed fought bums all his life and did a lot of tough talking, but when he faced his first real test (barrera) he never had the strength or courage to get up from this big loss.he quit boxing, fought one more bum and quit again.he s a coward , doesnt belong into the hall of fame, only in the hall of shame

One of the best British fighter, he shouldn't of quit, i think he had the skill and talent to beat Barrera in a rematch, he probably needed a little bit of more heart. He became to disheartened after loosing and abandoned the sport. hopefully he might return someday, probably wont last long now that his peek is gone.
