The commentator is still a tosser, most are at model shows, they talk a good flight....give them a tranny and they'd probably want to f**k him

  6. May 18, 2009 at 08:03 AM by FrostbiteUK

Engine cutting out was bad luck there.

  7. Apr 27, 2009 at 08:32 PM by buderboi

    ouch, that had to suck!

  8. Apr 25, 2009 at 04:35 PM by vanepico

Sorry, i was getting confused with the linguo, what i meant was that it is an incredibly light structure, effectively just strong enough as it needs to be to keep weight down

  9. Apr 25, 2009 at 04:31 PM by cabanestrut

its not a composite model. traditional balsa and ply.

  10. Apr 23, 2009 at 12:05 PM by OMFGitzDannyP

Lol DB Sounds is a legend, year after year at the BMFA Nats airshow line... "Look at that, isn't that nice, you can get one from the nice people in the XYZ tent, British you know, isn't it lovely"

  12. Mar 17, 2009 at 01:50 PM by SPAMERWEAPON

lol yeah we had BME 30% edge 540 and we had an engine failure after going strait into virtical climb then the motor quit and we tried to save it but it pancaked into the ground if we only had the extra 3 ft would have made all the difference. sad thing was the wings were fine and the tail plane had no damage but the front was ripped of and the pilot was found ten ft from the point of impact lol not joking, we declared him dead at the scene. one of the baffels can loose in the muffler, no airflow

  15. Feb 25, 2009 at 10:14 PM by RM250D8rzr

lol i was giveing an example in canadian sorry dident think about the pound vs the dollar yeah your about right

  16. Feb 25, 2009 at 05:52 PM by vanepico

If any of the radio was damaged it would be the rudder servo!

  17. Feb 25, 2009 at 05:51 PM by vanepico

Bad thing about composite ARTFs like that is repairing them is a big no no because to get them as strong as they were before would require increasing the weight a staggering amount, they are reasonably cheap though!

  18. Feb 25, 2009 at 02:36 PM by OMFGitzDannyP

Yeah it is DB Sounds LoL

  19. Feb 23, 2009 at 01:49 AM by RM250D8rzr

british humer u dont understand it lol as is with most north american people. he just trying to make it good along a littler bit better, its allways to joke about it instead of getting depressed. and yeah 5000 well the motor is fine the recever and probley most of the servos are fine and if anythink thats reparible. outher wise u can somtimes order a new tail assembly and if u cant do that well he just lost 1000 in an airfram.

  20. Feb 22, 2009 at 03:55 PM by Macsgrafs

    shit happens

  21. Feb 2, 2009 at 12:44 AM by Gig540

$5000 is a bit high. $1700-$2300 max maybe. For $650 he can be up in air with new plane. Or replace the fuse, good thing about ARF's Sorry for your loss. Hate to see that. Horrible time for it to flame out, why couldnt it of done that while it was taxing out . lol

  22. Jan 31, 2009 at 03:04 PM by PC9JEFF

That comentator is a total idiot!!! You don't say stupid things like that when a person crashes a $5000 dollar plane. If I were the pilot I would have beat the shit out of him in the stands!

  23. Jan 28, 2009 at 09:05 PM by MBMotorsportRally

If you are a model flyer.. you know all about that!! it happens !! part of the fun and excitement... and allows us to upgrade haha

  25. Jan 15, 2009 at 07:46 AM by vanepico
