I consider he is the most underrated HW of 1990s. He has 19 first round ko wins, and watched some of his fights of mid 1990s, those were amazingly performance. If South Africe had participated 1988 Olympic games, Corrie would have defeated Ray Mercer to win the 91kg gold medal for his country.

Corrie Sanders might have the best chin in the history of boxing. There's nothing spectacular about his style - he just says "hit me, and I'll hit you harder". And, most of the time, he was EXACTLY right.

That referee is a joke, should never ref again. What the hell was he doing? Sprott just took his count like he is entitled to and got up in time. Referee was totally incompetent.

Even though I'm white I still think the ref was wrong to stop the fight. I'm all for letting the best man win. That's how fair I am as a white guy. I don't necessarily hate blacks just because I'm white. No way.

Crap stoppage. It didn't help that he bounced up off the ropes and went down heavily, but he did what every fighter should do, stay down to 8 till your head clears, then get up... As they said, the ref didn't check his eyes or get him to walk towards him... Saying Sanders was about to ko him anyway is just conjecture.
