Is this dubbed? the guitar track continues even when he's not actually playing the guitar. and when he switches instruments too. Great song though.

I was at the Sydney concert (I was the dude in the front that kept yelling "Liam!"). Stooge speaks the truth. He played with passion and heart. Won a lot of people over. He also looks like the dude from "The Hangover". I'm a fan.

saw him support BEN HARPER & PEARL JAM at sydney, and the bloke is killer drums and guitarist but most of all, this bloke loves his effects so much, his last song had a crazy solo full of crazy delay, fuzz, wah and a effect pedal which looked like a 80s game controller ( people who have seen him live will know what im talking about) but it kind of reminded me hendrix's star spangled banner, and felt like i was at woodstock.

Just saw him open for Pearl Jam in adelaide, dude, unbelievably good, so energetic! I gotta say he may have been better than Pearl Jam, which is strange

What home work would that be. Following the careers of The Finn brothers since 1978? following The Mullanes before CH? Crowded House? Buying Betchadupa Albums? Split Enz? Owning all of Neil Finns solo stuff. Listening to Liam's stuff since betchadupa days? I have an opinion on whether its genius or not & all you can come up with it is "Litherland You're A dick" Give me a counter argument or shut up. You're only pretty sure. I'd want to be 100% sure if I were you. Give me reasons not insults.

  15. Oct 17, 2009 at 01:36 PM by TheLitherland

You people are so sensitive!!!!! It's not like I said he was bad. HE IS NOT a genius. BTW I like minus red numbers Keep em coming!!!!!! No such thing as bad publicity.

I saw him twice opening up for Eddie Vedder and I dont think Ed could've picked a better opener. This guys real good and he fit with eds solo show really well.

    Sick!

  21. Oct 8, 2009 at 10:16 AM by rorrt

Really good. and need i remind anyone, its Liam Finn on that stage not Neil Finn. and besides i would never say the same thing about Rufus Wainwright, or Martha Wainwright, record companies are not charities, they do need to sound good.

  22. Sep 28, 2009 at 06:42 AM by haida2

love it when he starts drumming

  23. Sep 13, 2009 at 05:42 AM by Cheeseburgerrr

I heard Jimmy Barnes make a good point about his son. He said something like "Being my son opens a lot of doors in this industry, but they close just as fast". I think that is spot on. I loved this song the minute I heard it, and only found after doing research on the net who Liam Finn was. Neil Finn's name may have got Liam a chance, but talent is what helped him take that chance.
