thing is, muhammad ali never took center. He was a fully outside boxer, circling his opponents constantly whilst jabbing their speed and defences down and then going for the knockout. Laila ali switches, sometimes she dances around like her dad, sometimes she takes center. Its quite good as she can adapt to the differnt boxing styles shes comes across and do whats better. She also has her dads uncanny ability to combo punches and land consecutive blows. Very good boxers, both of them

her only problem is she avoided top contenders, 5 of the best female boxers challenged her and she always found a way of avoiding them, its a litle dissapointing

I was wrong it was four Ann Wolfe, Vonda Ward, Leatitia Robinson and Ragosina im not taking nothing away from her she's undefeated but if you want to be considered the best you gotta satisfy the credible critics.

One of the things that she does well, just like her father and later Larry Holmes (who was a sparring partner of Ali's) is holding the left low to lure the opponent in. It works well with slower opponents (usually power-punchers with a slow, solid jab). Watch her drop the left and lean in to entice her opponent. Classic!

Like her dad, Ali's ability to fight going backward or laterally is great. Watch her as she's "backed" into the corner. (Around 6:55 of the clip). She fires off a right that backs Burton off. Burton then stands at a distance, reluctant to come back into the corner (smart of her to notice what was going on, too. VERY savvy!) She beckons to Ali, who obliges, and brings the pain!

Leila has a very beautiful fighting style like her pops. Toying with Burton early showing her domincance. Dancing and feinting her way through the first round. I love watchin this girl, no this Queen fight. Somebody shoulda told Shelly her arms are too short to box with God.
