hopkins is the best american fighter or make that was the best american fighter at that weight and was considered the best in the world at that weight so going up a weight to fight the best and beating him pretty comfortably after the flash knock down is pretty impressive, being younger wouldnt have helped hopkins as all that would do would mean he was able to throw more punches which would play straight in to joes hands, hopkins only took the fight as he had a ready made excuse and ducked him

who calzaghe? kessler lacy were both in there prime and no there not in the hall of fame there still fighting and kessler will be lacy was destroyed by calzaghe it ruined him lacy will ko jermain taylor if they fight. hopkins was no1 as i said, calzaghe is a good fighter, u can say bad things about loads of fighters hopkins never beat any legends that fight at either middleweight or heavier just welterweights but he is a good fighter dull as hell though

Bernard is like 234 years old, he went 12 rounds with an undefeated fighter, and if he was threw half the "pit pat" punches Calzaghe thrown, he would of won a decision. I"m telling you right now...Calzaghe chin is suspect in my opinion, and Roy, barring if HE gets caught, will destroy him. Roy is way too fast, Bernard isn't a fast fighter, he's a very smart fighter, Jones is faster and will land more, and you may see Calzaghe get KO'd!
