And tyson would ... ( 1 month ago by fadethetrade)
And tyson would slip the jab and right hand of lewis and counter.Lewis would have fought a survival type fight with the defensive wizard at slpping shots as mike became in 1988.The question is who would have won the decision? Hell, maybe lewis would squeeze out a decision.I wouldnt argue with you on that.WHat irritates me about your assessments is that you don't acknowledge how great mike became for a short period at the end of his tenure with the damato camp.
Using the ... ( 1 month ago by fadethetrade)
Using the bonehugger fight to demonstrate mikes ability is absurd.Mike wasnt even peaking yet and mike never had a chance to eat smith for breakfast had they faced in a rematch.Lewis was ko'd pretty hilariously against 2 guys that bonecrusher would have certainly beat)crazy Mccall and rahman the tomato can!)so you see,it's ridiculous to mention bonecrusher.
And you misjudged ... ( 1 month ago by fadethetrade)
And you misjudged me,actually my favorite heavyweight was ali,not tyson.I only acknowledge the truth about the damato style that beats a tall jabber/right hander type fighter because a quicker ,faster, more trained for defense tyson slipps a jabber and bobs and weaves away from the right hand. And every boxing person knows lewis chin wasn't made of concrete.actually it wasnt even durable. He learned from emanual stewaard the art of riding punches. But 1988 mike comes up the middle!
Tucker Ko'd douglas ... ( 1 month ago by fadethetrade)
Tucker Ko'd douglas who was fit because he was fighting for his father/trainer to become wba champ.Tucker kicked his butt and it wasnt because douglas ran out of gas.watch the fight again on youtube.Tucker was a damn good undefeated fighter who was the same style as douglas and mike took care of tucker 3 months later because mike was trained to go 15 rounds!!!!!!!! Tyson beats tucker who beat same style douglas.Tyson mid 1987 beats douglas.makes sense ,right?
watch some cus ... ( 1 month ago by fadethetrade)
watch some cus damato youtube films.I think you will find them very informative. The peekaboo style with tenacious bobbing and weaving and 5 punch lightning combinations as the fighter digs in to the body with foreman like power.A natural force to say the say the least.
Tyson june 1988 vs. ... ( 1 month ago by fadethetrade)
Tyson june 1988 vs. Evander Holyfield 1991.
TYSON KO 8. just watch the cooper/holy fight in ATLANTA! his home town.Tyson 1988 too much speed, too active, too much deadly accurate power and combinations for THAT holy to deal with.
TYson excuses ... ( 1 month ago by 11bollocks)
TYson excuses excuses hes embarrased he got beat and cant even give the real deal props!
Holyfield 93 vs ... ( 3 weeks ago by Bigbadben7)
Holyfield 93 vs Tyson 88, Holyfield 12 rd decesion.
Holyfield too much heart.
Holyfield took on and almost beat prime Bowe, then came back and beat prime Bowe, and beat Big George Foreman who eventually recaptured the title.
Mike with D'Amato and/or Rooney didn't KO everyone so why would a prime Holyfield get KOd in 8 when guys who can't carry Evander's jock went the distance.
No one would have thought those guys could go the distance with Mike based on their previous fights either.
because holy fought ... ( 3 weeks ago by fadethetrade)
because holy fought with a macho attitude during his light heavy to heavy reign thru 1993 until after hiring emanuel steward who then would give holy the correct strategy to outpoint tyson 88,if he could?.The holy before 1993 would be KO'd by mike of 88 because mike possessed the type of finishing skill that NO ONE ELSE who holy fought possessed like tyson did.not even close!!!Imagine mike getting holy hurt the way cooper, bowe dokes and stewart did.Mike of88 would certainly finish him off.
And dokes and ... ( 3 weeks ago by fadethetrade)
And dokes and stewart were about the same class of fighters that tyson fought and wiped out all thru his best days. Why did holy have so much trouble with SO MANY subpar fighters?????????Mike blew everyone away who deserved to be blown away and he had 2 nights (douglas and holy)of unfocused unprepared techniques that he totallly forgot how to implement since he fired rooney june 1988,tysons best days were left at the rooney camp.END OF STORY.
THE TYSON THAT ... ( 3 weeks ago by fadethetrade)
THE TYSON THAT OUTPOINTED TONY TUCKER WOULD ALSO OUTPOINT OR KO DOUGLAS.THATS HOW DIFFERENTLY PREPARED MIKE WAS WITH KEVIN ROONEY THEN HE WAS WITH AARON SNOWELL.ROONEY WOULD HAVE MIKE THROWING COMBINATIONS AS SOON AS DOUGLAS GRABBED HIM LIKE THE GIRL HE WAS THAT NIGHT.The onl way that douglas won was because mike beat himself that night. He didnt have plan B which rooney would have prepared him for.
Heres one for the ... ( 3 weeks ago by fadethetrade)
Heres one for the fact book.Tyson would have also lost to tucker the night he lost to douglas.
Why do any great ... ( 3 weeks ago by Bigbadben7)
Why do any great Chmaps have so much trouble with sub parr fighters?
Evander is known to rise to the level of his opponent either in the preperation or once he is in the ring and has a new found respect for the fighter and Ali was the same way.
Mike is known to do the exact opposite.
I agree,The only ... ( 3 weeks ago by fadethetrade)
I agree,The only assertion Im making is that mike and holy both fighting at 21 or 24 yrs old,in that age period ,mike was the more dominating fighter who most likely would come out a victory.Too much tenacity and power for THAT younger holy to handle as a heavyweight.I mean,c'mon,in 1989 ,holy barely had a 30 inch waist!

Dude you shouldnt be talking shit about tyson he was in my opinion the best boxer besides Ali. Tyson would of beat Holyfield in the late 80's and if you disagree with me then you dont know shit about boxing.

fuck all of you who think mike tyson is the best he is what u call a fucking nigger he a lying about the fight he just does notwant to remember he got his fucking ass kick
holyfield is ... ( 1 week ago by Megadeth72)
holyfield is headbutt master, nobody could denied that. ask lennox lewis and others however holyfield is good person and always respect every fighter he fought, he never underestimated anyone or saying bad thing about them. that's why he was called warrior.
The boxing writers ... ( 1 week ago by methodandmadness)
The boxing writers on the left and right of Ron Borges actually look scared to say that they had Holyfield ahead. Tyson is that crazy.
Good point. If ... ( 3 days ago by thopkin12000)
Good point. If Tyson hadn't fired Kevin Rooney, he may have defeated Holyfield in '96/'97, and probably in the late '80s. But he didn't. Holyfield won.
