And you misjudged me,actually my favorite heavyweight was ali,not tyson.I only acknowledge the truth about the damato style that beats a tall jabber/right hander type fighter because a quicker ,faster,more trained for defense tyson slipps a jabber and bobs and weaves away from the right hand.And every boxing person knows lewis chin wasn't made of concrete.actually it wasnt even durable.He learned from emanual stewaard the art of riding punches.But 1988 mike comes up the middle!

Tucker Ko'd douglas who was fit because he was fighting for his father/trainer to become wba champ.Tucker kicked his butt and it wasnt because douglas ran out of gas.watch the fight again on youtube.Tucker was a damn good undefeated fighter who was the same style as douglas and mike took care of tucker 3 months later because mike was trained to go 15 rounds!!!!!!!! watch some cus damato youtube films.I think you will find them very informative.The peekaboo style with tenacious bobbing and weaving and 5 punch lightning combinations as the fighter digs in to the body with foreman like power.A natural force to say the say the least.

Holyfield too much heart.
Holyfield took on and almost beat prime Bowe, then came back and beat prime Bowe, and beat Big George Foreman who eventually recaptured the title.
Mike with D'Amato and/or Rooney didn't KO everyone so why would a prime Holyfield get KOd in 8 when guys who can't carry Evander's jock went the distance.
No one would have thought those guys could go the distance with Mike based on their previous fights either.

Evander is known to rise to the level of his opponent either in the preperation or once he is in the ring and has a new found respect for the fighter and Ali was the same way.
Mike is known to do the exact opposite.

I agree,The only assertion Im making is that mike and holy both fighting at 21 or 24 yrs old,in that age period ,mike was the more dominating fighter who most likely would come out a victory.Too much tenacity and power for THAT younger holy to handle as a heavyweight.I mean,c'mon,in 1989 ,holy barely had a 30 inch waist!
