To be truly fair, mystique is the mother to rogue and nightcrawler. nightcrawler came about through well in this series genetics and the 90's version in a baron's house or something because she wanted to live a wealthy life. For rogue, she's the mother as well but did it with some random dude. rogue and nightcrawler are half brother and sister, you see that they have a connection throughout and they had a similar one in the 90's version too, hope that helps and doesn't burst any bubbles
