Johnson never fought Jeannette , but if Langford or Jeannette were champion, they would only fight white fighters as that was the sign of the times. He had to fight in Paris to make ends meat and its too bad he is forgotten as he would have been champion in another era. He had the pure talent and one-punch power of a prime Tyson, the heart of Joe Frazier, the stamina of Marciano, and the chin of Evander Holyfield. He's record even during his prime has legitimate losses to to men like Gunboat Smith, Jim Flynn, Jim Barry and a very very young Harry Wills.
