    Saw him get beaten up and slammed on a table at Max's 1978. James liked picking fights. Dudes would wear helmuts and hockey masks to sit near the stage. Back when NYC had personality.

    oh, yeah - Siegfried's at it again! he auditioned for our band in '75, but couldn't play charts for shit -- he could take it "out," though ... he was very funny and very cool - liked our band's music, too, even tho we passed on his membership
