Ihad it a draw and could have went either way, I wouldn't call it a robbery however I really really like Johnson and have a lot of respect for him and if anything I hope he gets a shot ASAP...This fight definitely deserves a rematch, this is a fight that needs a rematch, not to mention it was a great fight, very competitive and exciting...

You don't win fights by rocking someone...Dawson was shaken a few times...but he got no standing 8 and Glen didn't knock him down....Dawson landed on Glen all night long and they were not just on the glove. Stop complaining fight or retire Glen. You bitched about this fight and it's one you clearly lost...but you say nothing about the others...Also what about the gift you got in the Tarver fight. Antonio clearly beat you BOTH times...and believe me, this comes from someone who hates Tarver.

This man lost in my eyes first off Glenn Johnson had the best performance but he lost the fight. Reason why he had the best performance was because he almost beat Chad Dawson and gave it a good go. But thats about it I saw Dawson winning 114-113 and i give glenn 10-8 round in the 10th. Dawson won rounds 1,2,4,6,7,8,9 glenn won 3,5,10,11,12. thats the correct scoring in my eyes Glenn lost.

toneykopeter...i agree with you with everything except a 10-8 round in the 10th...Dawson was winning that whole round until Glen landed that punch towards the end...You can't score a round 10-8 unless it's a knockdown or standing 8...neither was issued...I gave that round to glen but only by a 10-9 affair...Dawson won that fight.

dawson threw alot, johnson landed the cleaner more effective shots, but if its easy to lose a fight on points, if the opponent lands more punches hard or soft he wins, one great uppecut will lose to 10 jabs.

It was a close fight, but Johnson has a point due to the judges tabbing him a loser by 3 rounds, particularly when you realize that the judges were changing there scores before handing them in. One judge didn't even know which guy was Johnson.
About the judging... It has nothing to do with just landing jabs. That's amature rules. It's about: Clean punches Effective Aggression Ring Generalship One good uppercut very much can win against 10 jabs.

I saw this fight and in my drunken stupor was so pissed after this blatant robbery I nearly got into a fist fight afterwards. Glen Johnson is a throwback in your face slugger(like a LaMotta, Marciano) with pretty good defense on the inside. This fight was better than Hopkins-Calzaghe and Tarver-Woods and to end it w/ an erroneous and heinous decision is why boxing is in the state that it's in. Fuck those judges and fuck Showtime!! No wonder why HBO's boxing programming is superior.

I don't know what you people are saying. Everyone was probably expecting Dawson to just blow by Johnson and that doesn't happen all the time. Dawson won a tough hard fight, fair and square. The judges were a little off, none the less I think it was a fair decision. Glen Johnson is not an easy fight, I thought the Johnson vs Woods fight was a bigger robbery and no one is complaining about that. Their WILL be a rematch, but it can't happen right away due to WBC regulations.

It was a close fight, there's nothing to cry about, it could have gone either way, they gave it to Dawson, you gotta beat the champ decisively, which Johnson didn't do. But I do feel bad for Johnson, every time he's in a close fight, the judges always rule against him.
