Pavlik will murder any one of those 3. You obviously know nothing about boxing. No offense, but Joe is a Mediocre fighter. He has beat no one. Roy Jones called this fight down to the T. Im sorry, but roy jones knows the sport of boxing like the back of his hand and Hopkins only relies on dirty boxing tactics to win. Jones will KO Calzaghe.

But hopkin is way over the hill and so is jones. Calzaghe is a over-rated bum. Hopkin and jones are in they own league but since they wayyyyy past they prime. Pavlik should win.

you miss the point,obviously joe doesnt punch as hard as a lot of top fighters but if he did he'd probably shatter his hands, only the best boxers can overcome that sort of handicap, they have to rely on superior technique and speed, its nigh-on miraculous that he can still do that in his late 30's and he's hardly slapping, a soft punch in boxing terms is probably far harder than anything an average guy can through (feel free to skip the bullshit reply bout how u box nd how i "dont know boxing")

Yeah, lets say that I am a boxer of 23 years, which I am. Personally I'd be inclined to agree with you, Roy Jones is faded now, but, where was Calzaghe 5 years ago when Jones was screaming to fight him? Calzaghe has no bottle. 5 years ago he wouldn't entertain the idea. Every time he's had doubts he's had an 'injury', be it hand, elbow, back, whatever. He lacks self belief. So, getting back to the point, Calzaghe has got a chance now. 5 years ago Jones would have taken him apart.

alirite no offence intended, i dont know if calzaghe's deserves the shit he gets, people say he cant punch ,but you cant slap 35 fighters unconscious, and his record does hav some good names on there, roy jones had the same criticisms in his early career right up until ruiz . i agree hopkins and jones were better in their primes and joe should win now, but joes work rate might be a bit of a weekness, i wudnt be surprised if jones scores at least 1 knockdown off the ropes with a counter left hook

He has some good names on his record yes, but, the only one who wasn't faded was Jeff Lacey, who it has to be said should have battered Calzaghe, for whatever reason he didn't fight his fight. I still say that Hopkins won against Calzaghe, I was scoring it at home and I had Hopkins winning by 2 rounds. That doesn't matter though because I was sitting on a sofa and not at ringside. The same can be said about Ricky Hatton. First time he fights a class opponent who isn't knackered he's leathered.

Yep, apologies. I actually forgot about Kessler. I was very surprised that he lost to Calzaghe. I do think that Calzaghe/Jones will be a very good fight though. Jones is a stylist and providing that he isn't too faded then I don't think that anyone can write him off. Calzaghe/Tarver is another fight I'd love to see. The man who destroyed Roy Jones, I think he'd knock Calzaghe into next year.

iv thought bout that ,id pick joe on workrate cos antonio hasnt fought well in a long time, no big wins since rocky balboa, besides tarver wont get past dawson, calzaghe always brings more or less the same to the ring, so the quality of the fight really depends on jones, he's old but not that weathered, the great ones always have one big performance left, and u dnt get much greater than roy jones jnr anyway, sorry bout before ,no disrespect intended, enjoy the fight man
