tucker landed one shot in the first and thats it,if tyson lost any rounds, they were close to draws. He dominated tucker and made him dance to his music. He fired rooney because his character was flawed and he wanted to have his homies worship him and tell him his power was enough to ko anyone.Thats why he stopped training correctly and King didnt want to pay rooney till 2000 on that contract he had on tyson.

you seem to know a lot about this, was ther tucker score close (i know it was unanimous, but that don't mean it wasn't 116/114 across the board. also, what justification did he provide for firing rooney? why the fuck would he do that, do you see the way rooney handles him in between rounds? he tried to calm him down, that fat fuck that came after rooney only ever fired tyson up, and i don't think tyson needed an instigator, he needed a rock, a voice of reason.

i hate to admit it but yeah he sure was.... aint that sad...

i think king intentionally tricked tyson into firing rooney and into stopping training. he wanted tyson to lose cos he knew he would get better fight money to see another meteoric rise of tyson to the championship and thats just what he thought he'd get sending tyson back along the circuit, fighting he guy who beat him in the ams and ruddock b4 taking on holyfield... big fucking money... way more than if tyson just stayed an inhuman ko machine that won every time.

Holmes was 100% right that Tyson would destroy himself and eventually wind up in prison.

im not sure why the three questions are presented by the announcer at the start of the biggs fight... tony tucker was the fight before this and i feel he answered those questions in that fight...

tyson was entering the new year here and in 1988 ,he became the best fighter pound for pound in HISTORY.He beat tucker who ko'd douglas,he ko'd biggs who was lou duvas pride and joy and was better then holyfield at that time. His best ever status was over when he married givens and joined don king and fired rooney.june 1988 it was over for mike.
