Calzaghe is a good fighter not a great fighter! Yes, he beat Hopkins. But Hopkins is 43 year old for god sake!!! Calzaghe fought Hopkins when he was washed up!! Same thing now for Roy Jones. Jones is not what he used to be. Calzaghe is good but not great! Hopkins in his prime beat: De La Hoya, Felix Trinidad, he beat Winky Wright he beat Antonio Tarver. Who did Calzaghe beat??

Im sick of hearing about who calzaghe has beat, how about six former world champions. All you lot are listening to is hopkins mind games, that were designed to make calzaghe fight the way hopkins wanted him to, but it didnt work. Hopkins had a good first few rounds, but that was it. And he was only effective with one punch, a straight right hand. Reverse the fight, have calzaghe counter punching, and hopkins leading then see what happens, hopkins would end up like lacy.

I dont think joe can get praised enough for the way he came back. Knocked down in the first, a bad first few rounds, in a different country with a world wide tv audience, and in there with the most slippery, negative, uncompromsing, boring, cheating snake boxing has ever seen, and he still came back to win, and yes he did win. Hopkins will tell u different, but unfortnately he is as much of a cheat outside the ring as in it. Im glad to see boxing get its integrety back, with the right decision.

At the end of the day, beacuse for the 1st time in boxing history UK PPV sales 1.25m outstripped 850,000 US PPV Sales for Hatton vs Mayweather, Hopkins would have always lost the decision, because of another possible fight between an 'undefeated' US vs UK boxer.
